Broccoli Soup
Needed: 1 Pot, Gaz stove, a hand blender (You could put it in a regular blender, but watch out with boiling soup, if it's glass it might brake, and if it's plastic it might damage the plastic. Either way let it cool off, or add cold water), wooden spoon (for stirring), lid.
Ingredients: 1 broccoli
1 teaspoon Fresh or dried oregano
1 teaspoon Fresh or dried Thyme (optional)
1 teaspoon Fresh Parsley (optional)
1 teaspoon Salt (Croatian sea salt)
1 teaspoon Grounded pepper (optional)
3 Tablespoons Olive oil and/or butter
Ingredients: 1 broccoli
1 teaspoon Fresh or dried oregano
1 teaspoon Fresh or dried Thyme (optional)
1 teaspoon Fresh Parsley (optional)
1 teaspoon Salt (Croatian sea salt)
1 teaspoon Grounded pepper (optional)
3 Tablespoons Olive oil and/or butter
1 cup Milk (optional)
Chop the stem of the broccoli in small pieces and fry in olive oil.
Add the rest of the broccoli, chopped into pieces. Add the ground pepper, thyme, and oregano.
Fry for 5/10 minutes. Add boiling water. Add salt (it is better to put salt last, but in case I forget I put it now). Cook for 5/10 minutes, put on low heat and cover with lid. Blend for 1/2 minutes with the hand blender. Sift through a skillet. You can push it through with a wooden spoon. Put back in the pan, and you could add more (2 tablespoons) butter and milk.
Serve with Fresh Parsley and bread or croutons (old bread baked with olive oil and salt and spices)
