Chop or grate the ginger. Take the seeds out of the Cardamon and crush them. Crush the Coriander seeds. Wash the plums and deseed the plums, chop them in pieces.
Melt the butter in the pan, fry the Ginger. Add the plums, and the Cardamon powder and Coriander powder. Cook for 5/10 minutes. Add the orange juice (Chop in half and use a fork), add the gloves the Cinnamon sticks and Bay Leaves. Cook for 5/10 minutes more. Add the sugar, and if needed a little water. Cook for 5 more minutes.
