Creamy (Tagliatelle) Pasta
For 2 persons
+/- 1 liter Water
500 gram White Pasta or Vegetarian Tagliatelle (without eggs)
5 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 cup Milk
4 Tablespoons Butter
3 Teaspoons of Sea Salt
50 gram of cheese
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Crushed Nutmeg (optional)
1 teaspoon Fresh Crushed Black Pepper (optional)
Boil the water, add 3 Teaspoons of Salt, add 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil add the Pasta, cook according to the instruction (usually around 8 minutes).
Drain the pasta in a sieve and add cold water. Leave the pasta to dry.
Add Two Tablespoons of Olive Oil, and fry the Crushed Black Pepper and Crushed Nutmeg (optional)*. Melt the butter in the pan. Add the milk, bring to a boil, now slowly add the Cheese and melt it. Now add the pasta, mix together, add one more teaspoon of Sea Salt and mix.
* The best way to crush them is with a mortar and pestle (or grind them, or crush them with a pan on a wood surface, or bake them in a frying pan, cool off, crush in the frying pan, with a pan).
