Crunchy Salad with Sesame Seeds and Pomegranate

For 2 persons

Half Iceberg Salad

2 Carrots

1 Tomato

3 Tablespoons of Sesame Seeds

Half a Pomegranate

Half a Lemon

3 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon Sunflower Oil


Cut up the Iceberg Salad in squares, cut the Tomato in half and take out all the seeds, then cut in squares. peel the carrot with a julienne peeler and cut up the remaining carrot in cubes, cut the Pomegranate in half, and peel off the skin and get the seeds out in a big bowl. Put in a bowl, add the Olive Oil and Squeeze the Half Lemon with a Fork. Fry the Sesame Seeds in a pan, with a little Sunflower oil. Let it cool off and mix it in the Salad.

Serve with Toasted Bread (or Bread baked in Olive Oil) and/or Rice Crackers and Guacamole.
