Baked Pears with Chocolate Sauce, Slivered Almonds and Whipped Cream - Poire au Chocolat

 For 2 Persons

2 Pears

2 Tablespoons Cacao

3 Tablespoons of Cane Sugar or Sugar

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Sugar (optional)

2 Tablespoons of Slivered Almonds

1 Cup of Whipped Cream (optional)

2 Tablespoons Butter or Sunflower Oil

Peal the Pears, cut them in half and carefully take out the pits etc. Bake the 4 half Pears in a frying pan with 1 Tablespoon of butter. 

Put the other tablespoon of Butter in a sauce pan and melt the Cacao, add the Cane Sugar. 

Whip the cream if its not whipped and before whipping add one tablespoon of Cane Sugar, and the Vanilla Sugar (optional).

After the Pears are baked add them with the holes down on two plates, two for each plate. Add the Chocolate Sauce, the Slivered Almonds and Whipped Cream (optional) and more Slivered Almonds.

Serve with a dessert spoon and a dessert fork (small fork).
