The Paramparā as described in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
1. Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa (Ananta-śeṣa)
Speaking from the very bottom of the universe, He originally spoke the essential purport of the Bhāgavatam to Sanat-kumāra. (ŚB 3.8.7)
2. Sanat-kumāra
Appeared about 155 trillion years ago as the first son of Lord Brahma and appears as a 5-year-old, and is the leader of the Kumāras. He traveled down to the nether regions and received the message directly from Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa. (ŚB 3.8.3)
3. Sāṅkhyāyana Muni
Sanat-kumāra, when inquired of by Sāṅkhyāyana Muni who is pāramahaṁsya-mukhyaḥ - the chief of all transcendentalists, explained Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam as he had heard it from Saṅkarṣaṇa. (ŚB 3.8.7)
4. Parāśara Muni & Bṛhaspati
Sāṅkhyāyana Muni spoke this directly to Vyasadeva's father (Parāśara) and the guru of the demigods (Bṛhaspati) in a sacred assembly.
5. Maitreya Muni
Parāśara Muni, being so advised by the great sage Pulastya, spoke this Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam to Maitreya. (ŚB 3.8.9)
6. Vidura
Maitreya Muni finally recites this exact cosmic lineage to Vidura on the banks of the Ganges during the onset of the Kali Yuga. (ŚB 3.8.9)
